Sqlite data base error?

(9 posts)
  1. hello,
    i have a problem.
the blog is working fine, until now, i cant write and send a message without this error:

Warning: sqlite_query() [function.sqlite-query]: column postid is not unique in /var/www/g32851/rubenstruik.nl/HTML/Blog/index.php on line 2872

Who can tell me wat to do, or what i have doing wrong?

    Greetings Martin

The column postid in this table must be a unique value and Pritlog takes care of doing this. But, looks like in your case some action has caused this to have duplicate values. I am not sure if something in Pritlog has caused this error or something else.

One easy way to avoid seeing the warning for now is to open index.php in Pritlog and locate the line number 2872 and add an @ before the "sqlite_query" function.

  3. Ok, I've tried, and the error in the screen was gone, but i could sent a post.. there nothing happends. Maybe i must delete the 'postdb.sqlite' file, and replease the original from Pritlog? than the db is empty, and then i try again?

Is it posible to set the database on'auto increment'?
And how can i admin the database from the pritlog working on my site.

My pritlog is working on adres:

I will look into this problem. Will check to see if we can convert this to auto-increment easily without breaking anything else. I took a look at your blog. Good photos. I like that theme too.

Did you mean that you wanted to administer the Sqlite database from Pritlog? I am sorry if I did not understand the question correctly.

  5. Thank you for your reply so quickly, and yes great pictures ha ha :) , i want to put more but wont let me haha....

And yes, i wanted to administer the Sqlite Database from pritlog, but i have the idea that it is nog possible..

I ask to much, the thing that is most importend, is to fix the problem now on my blog, and it would be great if it works with a "auto increment", so it is not necessary to send the data base an ID, one mistake and the site shows great errors, hahaha.. joking
I will see your reply soon, and thank you for helping so far.

(excuse for my englisch, its not 100% but i hope you can read this well.. ;) )

The auto increment should be taken care by the script without any issues. Several folks have used Pritlog for their blogs and I have never heard this problem before. Did you notice any error before this started happening?

For administering sqlite database from php, there are some solutions available on the internet. Would recommend to get one of those and try. Providing this functionality is beyond the scope of Pritlog at this point.

The database is in the folder "data>user". The database name is postdb.sqlite. With the sqlite database administration program you must be able to locate the duplicate record and fix it.

  9. Hi, I've cleared the database, and replaced by the original of pritlog. The weblog now works perfectly. Thank you for the support, we not only know what went wrong. Sorry if if I've bothered with it.
