Just got this device, my old wireless evdo device was recognized by Macpup but this one is not. Skimmed over the installation guide for linux, but the user guide is for Ubuntu, of course. Any suggestions to get this working? I ran dmesg and the device is recognized, but when trying to connect it says no modem detected. I am baffled.

ModeratorWireless issues are something I can't really help you with ,I have never used wifi at all.I suggest you check the puppy linux forum for issues like this .Macpup is based on puppylinux 5.11 .It has all the same drivers. Technosaurus is suppose to be the wifi guru for puppy linux you might ask him.

MemberOk, I may bring this back and reactivate my old device, because I used puppy 511 all summer long with it, however this new one only support windows and mac. There is a setup guide from sprint for Linux, but it only covers installation with Ubuntu. I have tried the steps in it but with no success
