I use vpn with Debian and Ubuntu (openvpn) to get into my work at my office from home.
But I can't connect successfully with the vpn client software in macpup.
Is it possible to install openvpn and other packages in macpup?

You can install .deb packages in macpup. So if you can find a openvpn package for ubuntu lucid it should work in macpup but you may need to add extra dependances. You can search http://packages.ubuntu.com/ for it with your browser and the page will show you what ever extra stuff you need. I would install the package and run it from the CLI . If it needs something that will tell you what.
