Please do keep in mind that this is only alpha quality now. Needs a lot of work yet to be done. Most of the major pieces are in place.

Hi Prit, its great that you found some time to move the SQLite version forward.
- Do you plan all future releases to work under SQLite ?
- How are you going to manage the "upgrade" for flatfile users ?
I'm somewhat busy, but will try to test it asap.
Any chance to get the source to put it on my server ? I would enjoy to get a first impression about the code you are putting together while testing, and to evaluate its potential for improvements.

- I am considering multiple versions, still not finalized. Maybe to release a "lite" version that uses text files, no admin panel, planning to add some enhancements from 0.7 to 0.411. This should be great for small blogs with not more than 800-1000 posts. I have not started working on this.
- The update script that will go along with 0.8 will be capable of converting all the current posts from text files to the Sqlite DB.
I am real hesitant to share the code now as I am continuously making changes to it. There may be many broken parts. Hope you understand John. :). I will try to share the code by next week or maybe earlier.
I like that idea prit! A lite-version (flat-file) version! Though if my hosting did have sqlite built-in (I'm unsure of this atm) & sqlite did not require usernames, passwords and whatever else is involved with databases I might be interested. It would all depend for me. I'm pretty happy with the version I'm using so..

Ken .. Just announced 0.8 Alpha 1. I think you would love Sqlite as it does not require usernames, passwords and the other stuff that goes with databases like MySql.
