Now everything seems to work as expected. Good work !
1. Question: how much SEO friendly is this script ? I mean, will search engines be able to index its content (posts and replies) and follow all links ?
2. Tranlations:
I live in Buenos Aires (Argentina), so I offer to send you a spanish version shortly.Don't you think it would be a good idea to asign vars to language specific titles and messages, and put them in a separate file (include) to facilitate updates between versions ?

Hi John,
Thanks for trying the new version. I am glad it works better for you.

The URL's are not clean and hence from my understanding, it may not be very SEO friendly. Maybe we can write up some htaccess rules to make the URL's clean.

I do want to make it easy for translations. I did not get time to work on this.

Hi John,
Welcome to Pritlog.
I am glad you got it up and running. It's a wonderful little masterpiece, isn't it?Don't you think it would be a good idea to asign vars to language specific titles and messages, and put them in a separate file (include) to facilitate updates between versions ?
Yes, yes, yes! That's what I tried to say, after translating Pritlog into Dutch. Only difference is I didn't know the technical words. This was the topic:
http://hardkap.net/forums/topic/a-translators-tool
But I think we shouldn't forget that Prit is just one human being, with a full plate already, working on mainframe systems in his daytime job and adding Macpup and Pritlog to that in his spare time.
I just finished a first version of a "translators tool", a simple copy of the index.php, where everything that needs to be translated is Bold. Very simple. But I need to find some time this week to test it, before uploading.
It's a temporary solution, your proposal is much better, but it adds to Prit's todo-list:)Posted 3 years ago # -

Thanks a lot Bert for understanding.
