   Hi,

   Macpup being good enough for all my tasks in PC however has this conern for quite some time since they r installed.

   I installed Openoffice from Puppy PET pkg manager. I can open the writer or calc or ppt apps from menu without issues.

   However the issue is with the usage of documents with them.

   Especially with writer, most of the times when i try to open a document from File-->open it hangs and does not comeup even after much tim.

   And when i try to insert a Page break through Insert-<Manual break, again it got hanged...

   Apart from these also the Save options, other menu options,etc makes it hangs most of the time.
   Is there any resolution for the same.

   My PC is 512 MB ram with 1024 mb swap.

   I have not faced openoffice issues before even in Puppy older versions.

   Any suggestions....?

   And Netwag Everything from GUI i added from PET pkg manager but thats not at all opening from jwm menu and gets crashed with enlightenment reporting a dialog.

   Any suggestions?

   Alot of the stuff in the puppy package repos needs to be updated for 4.3.1 .But that is for the puppy dev's to handle. As far as openoffice there isnt anything I can do , I didn't build that. There are times when puppy runs faster than e expect it to .When an app closes faster that e "thinks" it should it reports an app crash when it hasen't.
