Hello everyone!
This is my first time using Macpup and i have to admit that i am very impressed. I have been running Macpup as a live cd and when i tried to go online (I have a wired network), I opened the Midori and typed in the address bar: http://www.google.com/ but i keep getting an error.
Error - http://www.google.com/
The page "http://www.google.com/" couldn't be loaded.
Cannot resolve hostname
Would really like to put Macpup on the hard drive, so could someone help me please.

I misread your post, Sorry. First before you boot macpup up make sure your router/modem is on and your Ethernet cable is connected. After you get loaded click on the Top Hat on the ibar. Then in the window that opens click on Connect to internet or intranet.In the next window select internet by wired or wireless LAN. Then select the Network Wizard.In the next window it will show your network interfaces it should list you eth0 .Click on the eth0 button .Then select Auto DHCP.

I have no idea . Try it and see.You start with the same set up way but pick wlan instead of eth0 .If it doesn't show your 3g wlan it doesn't have a driver for it. Then scan for a network. After you pick a network you set up a profile,then save that profile.Now load that profile.( I know this is a bit lame but that is the way this version of puppy works) After it connects you set up the auto DHCP. The new version of puppy that will be the base for the next macpup works much better.
