   Hello, I am using your wonderful Macpup 525 on my Dell Latitude D600 (60GB HD, 1 GIG Ram)and it runs like a scolded dog. This is the most stable, well thought out E17 desktop I have tried yet. Kudos to everyone who built this Linux version and a big "Howdy" to all the folks in Great England.
   The problem I am having is getting a battery meter gadget working on this laptop. I see no reference to a battery meter in the gadgets manager. I did see a fellow on Puppy Linux forums that had a problem displaying his battery meter in Macpup 525, but all he had to do was to enable it in gadgets manager to display on his desktop.
   So, how do I add this feature to the gadget manager for my D600 laptop?
   And one more problem I am having, I had to use Opera 11 instead of Firefox 4 to enter this site and log in. Firefox would not allow me to log in at all. I thought I had the wrong password, so I kept requesting another password from your admin. Now what would stop Firefox 4 from allowing someone from logging in?

   First you need to load the module . Menu-settings-modules then look under the system tab. Load the module. Then right click anywhere on the shelf you want to add it to. Then high light that shelf and select contents then select battery and add gadget.

   I cant say bout your other issue. Prit handles all the forum stuff.

   Runtt21, thank you sir. I do appreciate your help. The module is loaded and is now displayed on my desktop. Simplicity defined! I thought I would have to down load a module from some obscure web site somewhere.
   By the way, what directory are the modules files located? I would like to mod them.

   That depends on what you want to do. If its one of the extra module set you can get the source file from the e17 svn repo but if its a core module you would have to rebuild e to do it.
