I am to install the opera 2 to hard drive, the installation goes well but when I try to power down the screen goes blank and does not shut down. if I to shut it down through power button it goes to grub> and stays there. need help I did not have problems with previous versions.....thanks

First thing you need to try is switching to xvesa . If it still has problems add acpi=force, to the end of the
kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst.O2 is built on puppylinux 4.3.1 it has the same issues that it has.

Thanks for reply. I installed it with xvesa, then I did powered down, did not save, rebooted and this time used Xorg all works just fine. Now...
1- When I set the panel to auto hide it gives me a enlightenment error. if I exit, will reboot, if I recover then restart the enlightenment all is ok.
2- watching video like youtube and movies are ok, but not justin.tv, sports, martial arts for example.
3- How can I install Kompozer that is important to my business. thanks againPosted 2 years ago # -
1. Dont know never had it do that on any of my rigs.
2. Depends on how their video feed work ,O2 may not have support for it.
3 Search the puppylinux forum for a .pet of Kompozer :

for any package install having the dev sfs mounted in puppy os and compiling from the downloaded source code is good enough..... atleast for pkgs not found...
