Hey, i m new on macpup i tried it and it recognize my old material (i was on ubuntu before but it becomes heavier ) i saw a graphical boot "macpup" on the live cd but i installed it and it s now a text boot, how to have a "nice" graphical boot instead of text? Did i made a wrong install?
(i m french and my english is far to be perfect so excuse me :) )

The Live Cd has it's own boot loader, The installer uses a different one. Yes you can add a graphical image .I will look it up for you I don't remember right off the top of my head how to do that.

It should be if you find a recent ubuntu package of it. I have never compiled it before.I can't run compositing on my build computer so there is no way for me to test or trouble shoot something like that. I do have the composit module for e17 as a seperate package.I compiled it in 511 but it only worked for a few people not everybody so I left the new one out of 520. It may or may not work for you .
It's the Comp-520-01.pet in the macpup520 folder on my macpup page.

i installed it and since i broke my e17 session !! i m now always on jwm, i think i will do a total reinstall!

Open the file manager while in jwm and go over to /usr/lib/enlightenment/modules and delete comp. Then restart e17.

Done but i dont know the command to boot on e17 --> it still boot on jwm...
