well , now I have an issue. Running a full install of macpup foxy 2.0 [for various reasons this box will stay w/ that version] Works flawlessly, unless I try to let firefox "upgrade" to FF3.5.7.. then No FF at all, must reboot to cdrom, and delete "new" FF and drop in old... and all is good again. Is there a way [for Dummies]to get Firefox3.5.7, on Foxy2.0?

MemberFox 2 ? Really ? I would install a new version as a .pet and see what that does. Ttuuxxx has a .pet that is the same as what is in fox 3 and it updates fine for me .

Or you could try downloading the latest from the mozilla site and installing it.

I will try the .pet, I think that when I let Firefox update itself, that it is getting 3.5.7 from the mozilla site, That has not worked. I have to wait a bit to get the .pet cause I seem to have "used up" my "allotment" from the linux.ca repository!!

MemberI think you may have a lot of problems doing this , The libs that firefox runs on are very old in that version of puppy and Flash causes FF to crash alot , that was why we went to opera for a while. You may need to try firepup or one of the opera .pet that comes with the QT4 stuff.
