I have an old K6 machine that I've been experimenting with light distros on, and this one runs better than the original Puppy on this machine off the CD. (I did donate). But how do I install it? I seem to be missing something somewhere; does it only run off the CD?

First you need to decide where you are going to put it, On the computers hard drive or a usb flash drive, etc. Are you using Foxy 2.0 or Foxy e17?I will be off line untill tomorrow afternoon, I will get back with you then. Are you going to dual boot or just have foxy as the only os on the computer?

Thanks for getting back to me, but it turned out to be cockpit error; I couldn't find the universal installer at first in the Enlightenment menu. It's now loaded and running.
Despite 300 MB of RAM on this machine, it's running Firefox pretty slowly, but other than that, so far so good. Not only is the desktop gorgeous for such a lightweight system, but things seem to run more smoothly than on the default desktop. How did you do that?
Kudos!

"How did you do that?" I dont really know,I just press buttons and stuff happens, it just works....LOL !!
One thing ,I have heard a few people talk about the desktop changes, what I means is if you try to hang a application's window off the edge of the desktop or move the arrow to the edge it will change desktops.Sometimes when you dont want it to.I Have a fix for this in the new version of e17 but I need to see how its set up in the version that Foxy e17 uses . I will get back to you later about this.
