I'm currently running Puppy 5.1 on an older Toshiba Satellite, and it works fine. I like to track how hard my CPU is running on this old machine so that I know why it's being occasionally unresponsive, and the CPU monitor on regular Puppy works well. But the CPU gadget for E17 on Macpup doesn't respond; it only shows 0% all the time. Is there a file that I need to edit, or ???.

runtt21: thanks for your response. I neglected to mention that I did check to make sure the module was loaded; it was that way in the default install. Just for fun, I unloaded and reloaded the module, and then loaded the gadget. No go; it is stuck at 0%.
Do I need to install lmsensors, or am I just out of luck?

No I didnt get that to work but I left it in when I built mp511. I just forgot about it. Right click on it and see what happens when you adjust the settings it may work for you .If not you may need to use htop to check your cpu usages . I am really tied up at the moment with the development of Macpup-520 So cant help you much more all of my machines are devoted to 520 right now . But When we get that fixed I will look into it for you more.Sorry.

runtt21: No problem, on the list of my top 10 problems this week, this one's about no. 955. If you find a way to fix it in 520, that would be great. I really like Enlightenment, and Puppy is about the only distro that will run this old hardware. I'll just wait for the new release.
