   Hi there...noob here...im looking to burn dvd/cd but when i insert the blank dvd nothing happens..no auto play no pop ups...i cant seem to find how to burn a disc..or where to start.? is there another application i need to install or does this version have the capabilities to recognise a blank dvd/cd.I know this is a noob ? so hence the forewarning.Thanx

   Edit:...ok i found the Xburn under prefrences in file manager but i insert the blank cd an a pop up asks what i want to do. i check burn Data cd...but nothing has happened. what am i doin wrong/?

   Try opening PBurn or Xfburn from the multimedia section on the menu. You can select the option - data, burn image to disc etc from the application menu. Let us know how it goes.
