   WHen i boot the disk it proceeds to loading stage 2... grub v0.97 etc
   and then say press tab for list of commands, how to i install it? im new to this stuff
   many thanks any help appreciated :D

   Did it give you a blue screen with two options "macpup 525" and "macpup 525 ran" with a "press f1 for help in the bottom left corner?

   If not it mean that you computer does not like the stage 2 grub bootloader on the cd. This is rare but it has happened before. Go ahead and do what it says about tab and see if it drops you at a command prompt. If it does enter puppy prefix=ram .If it wont we will do another work around.

   Until you make a save file, nothing. They will both load the os into ram. After you make a save file "macpup 525" option will load the save file. The "macpup 525 ram " will only load the main .sfs not the save file. You use that option if you want to try something out and don't want to mess up your save file.
